The Antidote Resource Center is another new "department" of the Annals of Emergency Medicine
(similar to the longstanding NHTSA Notes and the CDC updates, for example). Similar to those sections,
it does not review or provide original scientific studies for readers in the manner used for original
science manuscripts. It is not a recommendation or endorsement for any particular product or management
approach and is meant only to be a resource and convenient collection of references. Similar to the
print journal, the site includes oversight by a Deputy Editor, and peer review will be performed on all
of its contents. As with other departments of the Journal, however, this may involve peer review by an
editor only or by Annals content experts. The goal is to bring together information which by our best
judgment is reliable and accurate and of benefit to clinicians, all in the same place and hopefully in
an efficient manner. Readers are invited to provide feedback to Annals regarding useful additional
features and any areas in which we can improve transparency and reliability.
